The property features basic but clean rooms that some guests describe as small yet comfortable. While the hotel provides free Wi-Fi, breakfast, and parking, guest reviews have noted variability in internet reliability and occasional noise due to the parking area being adjacent to guest rooms. The atmosphere caters well to travelers seeking a practical, no-frills stay with kid-friendly and smoke-free facilities, including an on-site restaurant for added convenience.

decided to stay a bit longer on Oaxaca in the peak season and this was one of our only options as our other hotel was fully booked! Pretty basic decent, super clean, offer some basic but yummy breakfast...staff super friendly, good location and free parking! I just wished the wifi had worked a bit better..
Very clean. Friendly helpful staff. Newly refurbished rooms. Somewhat dark since only front rooms have outside windows.
El lugar es limpio, las habitaciones son chicas pero cómodas, hay mucho ruido ya que el estacionamiento está en el patio en medio de las habitaciones
Decent place to stay good wi-fi and had a buffet in the mornings
This small hotel was a great place to stay. The rooms and bathrooms were small, adequate, but very clean. The staff could not be any better. Helpful in every way possible. Quick to assist in each of our questions or issues. They gladly assisted us in storing my Mother-in-law's wheelchair upon our return to hotel. The young lady at the front desk was such a pleasure to see, she always greeted us with a smile and quick to answer our questions. Two more important pluses I want to mention, free limited parking and full breakfast. You do leave your car keys at the front desk, in the event they have to move you vehicle, to get other vehicles out that might be parked behind yours. Location of hotel is exactly 4 blocks away from the Cathedral and main market areas. It is approximately a slow 10 minute walk, since we were pushing a wheelchair. The city sidewalks, are not the best so I hope you are in good shape if this would be your situation. The only con, I would say if it is absolutely necessary for your stay: there is no air conditioning. The rooms do have ceiling fans, which was good for us since we stayed in a room with a balcony, and we kept the door open all night. I do recommend a room with balcony if at all possible.
Greeted by Momo and a hot espresso, hotel Jimenez is a great spot to stay before tearing your legs off on a 5:30 am ride with the boys. Don’t even think about asking where the towels are. There are plenty and in a convenient location right next to the shower. Besides the frequent outbursts by the special needs child, Sebs, hotel Jimenez is a quiet and relaxing spot to chill!
Busy area with baroque Santo Domingo Church & museum, plus street food at Mercado 20 de Noviembre.

Short, honest notes are more useful than long ones. A few sentences about what worked, what surprised you, and who the hotel is best for will go a long way.
